Hello friends! It's been a while since I've done a longer style blog post on here. Today, I wanted to share a new -to-me vintage cookie recipe that I made recently! I made them for a post- Christmas caroling party and I got a few compliments on them, so I thought I would share the recipe with y'all. First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease your cookie sheets. Next sift 2 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda together. Next, stir in 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and a handful or two of chocolate chips. Drop on to cookie sheets with a tablespoon. Bake for 15 minutes. Take out of oven and let cool for several minutes. Enjoy! Let me know if you try them and tell me what you think! -Emma P.S. The recipe is not my own... I found it online in an antique cookbook.
